CTC services, operations curtailed during shutdown
During last December’s holiday shutdown, the company achieved an operating savings of $250,000 through a planned reduction of utilities and services at Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills. With the pending two-week shutdown in July, the Facilities Operations organization will again operate in a shutdown mode.
The following services will be suspended during the shutdown period:
• Events Planning
• Mailing Services
• Executive Services
• Graphics and Printing Services
• Customer Service
There will be a number of suites that are shutdown as well. On average, the company will save $524 a week of lighting and air conditioning costs in closed suites.
The following services will be available on a limited basis:
• Food Services: The Sundry Shop in Tech Plaza and a mobile food vehicle will be available for breakfast and lunch. Vending machines will be operating.
• Copier support
• Housekeeping
• Maintenance
• Shipping Services
As a reminder, Facility Operations asks employees to shutdown all electrical equipment in suites prior to leaving (computers, copiers, coffee pots, printers, etc.).
