Dodge drivers visit the ‘heroes’ at St. Jude
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series raced at Memphis (Tenn.) Motorsports Park on Saturday evening. Several of the drivers, including Dodge drivers Dennis Setzer and Stacy Compton, visited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Friday morning to sign autographs for patients and then they were given a tour of the facility. “Every time we make the trip to Memphis we try to stop by St. Jude if we can,” Compton said. “It is such an amazing place to visit. I have two daughters at home who mean the world to me. When you walk in and see those children and what they are battling, it really brings it home on how lucky I am. We are often called heroes in our sport, but I will be the first to stand up and say those patients at St. Jude are the true heroes.”
