Effective immediately, Akiko Larson joins Chrysler LLC as Senior Manager—International Product Planning. In this position, Larson is responsible for ensuring that current and future products meet international regional market and product requirements through all stages of the development cycle. Gordon Heidacker was appointed Director—Powertrain and Electrical Procurement. Heidacker will be responsible for establishing and executing the purchasing strategy for all aspects of engine, transmission, axle, electronics and electrical procurement in support of existing and new vehicle programs. Thomas Groechel was appointed Director—Technical Operations, Group Human Resources. In this position, Groechel will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of human resources strategies for Product Development, Product Design, Procurement and Supplier Quality.
