Big 3 Cricket Challenge Cup stays with Chrysler

The Chrysler cricket team, led by Shahid Ahmed, Technical Specialist—RWD CAE, won the sixth annual Big Three Cricket Challenge Cup for the third time in a row. This year’s event saw participation from Caterpillar and Sprint in addition to the four main participating teams, Chrysler, Ford, GM and Altair. The Chrysler team beat the Sprint team and the Altair team to get to the finals. The finals were a repeat of last year with the Chrysler team beating the Ford team to win the cup in a come-from-behind victory. Pankaj Mahajan, Senior Systems Engineer—Thermal Core, was the MVP of the finals. The games were played July 27 at Bloomer Park, Rochester Hills, Mich. Richard Chow-Wah, Vice President—Powertrain Manufacturing, presented the trophy to the team.
