Dream cruise preview at The Whitney
Bud Liebler, former Chrysler executive and current owner of The Whitney, the iconic midtown Detroit restaurant, is spearheading a rain or shine pre-Woodward Dream Cruise event in conjunction with MotorCities National Heritage Area to benefit the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. Chrysler Classics & Cruisers @ The Whitney—slated for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and classic Chrysler vehicles displayed in the restaurant’s parking lot. Guests wishing to cruise together to The Whitney down Woodward Avenue are invited to gather at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum for a 3 p.m. departure. Tickets for Chrysler Classics & Cruisers @ The Whitney are $100 per person, available online at www.motorcities.org. Event proceeds will go to MotorCities to benefit the Walter P. Chrysler Museum.
