Media speculating about Chrysler alliances
A Chrysler spokesperson today downplayed reports that the company was in talks with Italian automaker Fiat and Indian manufacturer Tata, characterizing the reports as “highly speculative” and adding that, “most of the time, nothing comes of these stories.” Global alliances remain a key part of our international expansion plans, but Chrysler has no new partnerships to announce at this time, the spokesman said.
