Manufacturing announces new appointments

Frank Ewasyshyn, Executive Vice President—Manufacturing, announced the following executive appointments this morning. The executives will report to Ewasyshyn and are effective immediately.

Byron Green was appointed Vice President—Vehicle Assembly with responsibility for manufacturing operations at all vehicle assembly plants. This position was formed by consolidating Byron’s current position of Vice President—Jeep® and Truck Vehicle Assembly and the position of Vice President—Car and Minivan Vehicle Assembly currently held by Fred Goedtel Jr.

Goedtel was appointed Vice President—Powertrain Operations, succeeding Richard Chow-Wah who is on special assignment through Dec. 31. Goedtel is responsible for all operations at the transmission, engine, machining and casting plants.

Santiago Pages was appointed Vice President—Mexico Manufacturing Operations, succeeding Roberto Gutierrez who retired after 41 years of service to Chrysler. Pages is responsible for operations at all manufacturing facilities in Mexico.

Other announcements and appointment will be forthcoming in support of this revised structure.
