Employees given a glimpse at future products
A couple of thousand employees at the Auburn Hills Complex today were given a brief preview of the company’s future new vehicles.
Employees from throughout the complex and neighboring facilities were invited to the Design Dome in shifts to see products planned for reveal at next year’s auto shows and into 2010. In some cases, employees got to see actual preproduction vehicles and in other cases they saw fiberglass models, photos or sketches. A number of models depicting a variety of interiors were also on display.
“As a company, we’re excited about the range of products we have planned for the future and wanted to share that enthusiasm among our employees,” Frank Klegon, Executive Vice President—Product Development, said. “Hosting an open house gives them a chance to see the results of their hard work in a very hands-on and personal way, which helps spread pride in our Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge products.”
