Crew Cab is top luxury pickup in Mexico
For the second-consecutive month, the Dodge Ram Crew Cab Laramie took the No. 1 spot for luxury pickup truck sales in Mexico.
Despite a declining market, severely restricted wholesale and retail credit and challenging press speculation, Chrysler LLC continues to excel in key segments across Mexico.
The Ram now has a 25.3 percent market share in the highly competitive light-duty pick-up truck segment, with sales up 2 percent year-to-date compared with a decline in the overall segment this year of 17 percent.
In addition, the Dodge Journey again was the No. 1 selling crossover, outselling its next closest competitor by nearly two to one. Chrysler also continues to sell more SUVs than any other manufacturer, maintaining the No. 1 position in SUV’s year-to-date with an 18.2 percent market share.
