Matchmaker event coming Oct. 1

Chrysler Group LLC’s Diversity Supplier Development Group will host its 10th annual Matchmaker Event on Thursday, Oct. 1. The event is intended to provide business opportunities to 150 minority, woman and veteran-owned business exhibitors. This year’s event also will feature 50 of the Chrysler Group’s tier one suppliers as exhibitors. 

The event will be held at the Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills. Festivities will begin with an ceremony in the Education Auditorium at 8:30 a.m. Exhibitor booths will be located in the Education and Tech Plaza nodes and will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The Matchmaker event serves as an excellent venue for Chrysler employees and suppliers to acquire new business contacts that can assist Chrysler in meeting its business needs. 

Suppliers can register as a visitor for the event at: supplierdiversity.chrysler.com.  Log-on then click “Matchmaker/Visitors Register Here.”  The visitor registration cut-off date is Sept. 25.
