Interim executive appointments announced
Chrysler Group LLC late yesterday announced that Scott Garberding has been appointed Head of Manufacturing/World Class Manufacturing on an interim basis. He will oversee the continued progress in achieving the company’s World Class Manufacturing goals as Frank Ewasyshyn, Executive Vice President–Manufacturing/World Class Manufacturing, goes on temporary medical leave.
In addition, Dan Knott has been named Head of Purchasing on an interim basis. He also will oversee the continued progress in reaching the Chrysler Group’s World Class Manufacturing goals. Knott’s current responsibilities will be absorbed within the Engineering organization.
Garberding and Knott will report to Sergio Marchionne. The appointments are effective immediately.
