Employees celebrate Native American History Month

Posted on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 at 7:19 AM EDT.

November is Native American History Month.

The Chrysler Native American Employee Resource Group (NAERG) invites employees to visit its poster display Nov. 3-13 in Tech Plaza at the Auburn Hills Complex. Additional exhibits and artifact displays to celebrate Native American heritage also will be on display throughout November.

The NAERG also is sponsoring its annual book drive at the Auburn Hills Complex throughout November. Employees are encouraged to bring new or gently used children’s books/textbooks to work and deposit them in the designated Veterans’ Committee boxes near employee entrances. These books will be sent to tribal schools for Native American students.
