NASCAR drops testing for 2009

NASCAR announced on Friday that testing has been suspended for 2009 at all NASCAR touring series tracks, including Pre-Season Thunder at Daytona International Speedway in January.

The ban will include any track that holds a Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Truck or Camping World East or West Series race.
